Choosing the right campervan conversion for you
We don’t all want the same interiors for our campervans, therefore we have a number of options available for you. Some people are after a simple interior, lined and fitted with a full-width bed and a small amount of storage – or maybe no storage at all! Whilst others will be after a full on all bells and whistles camper van, fully equipped for weeks away off-grid. This will require more storage, full electrics and maybe a pop top roof. Or maybe you are after something in between; whilst you won’t be off grid in the Highlands of Scotland for weeks on end, you will be holidaying on a campsite with hook-up and amenities.
We hope we have a design option whatever you want to use your van for. Our most popular layout is the classic full-length units with a full height ‘wardrobe’ at the rear. This layout is designed to work with a 3/4 width bed. If you have a rear driver’s side window you might prefer to forgo the wardrobe and have your worktop continue to the rear of the van.
Our bulkhead unit is on its way…
For some folks, the standard campervan layout isn’t what they’re after – maybe more bed, less cupboard is your thin. We are currently finalising our bulkhead unit, designed which will work with a full-width bed in a SWB Transporter. This will house a SMEV combination sink/hob, storage and 12v and 240v electrics. If you are interested in finding out more about this design when it is completed, please fill out your details below and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready.
Two interior furniture design options
When it comes to design we have two options – one that shows off more of the birch plywood and one that is more laminate than ply. We love both – it is up to you which one you prefer.
